Under Central Government’s Ministry of Home Affairs—Sashastra Seema Bal is recruiting 483 nos. Boys for the post of Head Constable (Telecom), Head Constable (Telecommunication), Head Constable (Workshop), Head Constable (Electrician), Assistant Sub Inspector (Telecom), Sub Inspector (Telecom), Constable (Veterinary) and Sub Inspector (Pioneer). 1. Constable (Telecom): 84 Nos. (Gen-9, OBC-43, SC-22, ST-10)

Qualification: Madhyamik Pass boys with Science can apply for the post.
Age should be between 18-23 yrs old. Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000.
2. Constable (Veterinary): 12 Nos. (Gen-7, OBC-3, SC-2)
Post Code: 08
Qualification: Madhyamik Pass boys with Science may apply. Minimum one year experience of working in such field in any recognized veterinary hospital is desirable. Age and pay-scale is same as above post.
3. Head Constable (Workshop): 58 Nos. (Gen-31, OBC-12, SC-11, ST-4)
Post Code: 05
Qualification: Madhyamik Pass boys with Automobile or Motor Mechanical Engineering Diploma course pass from any recognized Polytechnic may apply. Madhyamik pass boys having done 2 years of Automobile or Motor Mechanical Trade Course from I.T.I. were also eligible to apply. Candidates should have valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
Two years work experience in any recognized Workshop or Garage is desirable. Candidates should be physically well. Age should be between 18-25 years. Pay scale is same as above.
4. Head Constable (Electrician): 6 Nos. (Gen-1, OBC-2, SC-3)

Qualification: Madhyamik or Higher Secondary Pass boys with Electrician Trade Certificate or Diploma Course from any Recognized Institute or I.T.I. may apply for the post.
Age should be between 18-25 years. Pay Scale is same as above.
5. Assistant Sub Inspector (Telecommunication): 49 Nos. (Gen-21, OBC-13, SC-9, ST-6)

Qualification: Higher Secondary Pass candidates with subjects—Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and have acquired total 50% marks may apply for the post. Madhyamik Pass boys with Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering Diploma Course pass from any recognized Institute were also eligible to apply.
Ag should be between 19-25 years and Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2800.
6. Sub Inspector (Telecommunication): 40 Nos. (Gen-15, OBC-12, SC-11, ST-2)

Qualification: B.Sc Pass with subjects—Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics may apply for the post. Candidates with Telecommunication or Electronics Engineering Degree Course from any recognized Institute can also apply.
Age should be between 18-25 years. Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 Per month, Grade Pay: Rs.4200.
7. Sub Inspector (Pioneer): 30 Nos. (Gen-16, OBC-7, SC-3, ST-4)

Qualification: Higher Secondary Pass candidates in Science and Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma Course from any recognized Institute or University may apply for the post.
Age should be between—20-25 years. Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200
For all the above mentioned Posts, age should be calculated as on 20-6-2011. SC/ST will receive 5 years age relaxation where OBC- 3years, Govt. workers- 5years, divisions’ candidates will upto 35 years age and Ex- Serviceman will receive as per norms.
Candidates should be physically well built and without any disputes.
Physical Standard: Height—170 cm (162.5 for SC/ST); Chest unexpanded/expanded: 80/85 cm (75/81 cm for SC/ST). Body Weight should be corresponding to the height and age.
