HEALTH AND WELLNESS OFFICER
Educational Qualification: General Nursing and Midwifery/ Bachelor of Science in Nursing registered at Arunachal Pradesh Nursing Council, Naharlagun.
Desirable: i) Work experience in the Public Health System, preferably at the Primary Health Centre level.
ii) Two years of relevant work experience in the health sector.
Age Limit: Below 35 years (below 40 years for SC and ST candidates) as on 23-12-2019.
Fixed Pay: Rs.25000 per month.
The selected candidates will undergo Six (06) Months Certificate Course in Community Health for Nurses (CCCHN)- January, 2020 under Arunachal Pradesh Health Mission/ Society implemented through the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
The course is part of an initiative under the National Health Mission to strengthen Sub-centres as Health & Wellness Centres (H&WC).
Candidates who successfully complete the course will be posted in Health and Wellness Centre (Sub-centre) in the following districts as Health and Wellness Officers (HWOs) to leads a Compressive primary healthcare team:- Anjaw, Changlang, Dibang Valley, East Kameng, Kamle, Kurung Kumey, Kraa- Daadi, Leparada, Lohit, Longding, Lower Siang, Pakke Kessang, Shi Yomi, Siang, Tawang, Tirap, Upper Siang, Upper Subansiri, West Kameng and West Siang.
Note: Regular Nursing Officers under State Government, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination.
