DISTRICT JUDGE (ENTRY LEVEL) IN THE WEST BENGAL JUDICIAL SERVICE
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must have been Practicing as an advocate for not less than seven years.
Age Limit: Minimum 35 years and should not have attained 45 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs. 51550-63070/-
Candidates will be appointed through Direct Recruitment. The candidates selected for the post of District Judge (Entry Level) will be on probation for a period of two years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for SC/ST category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Competitive Examination consisting of three phases namely, Preliminary Test, Written Examination and Viva-voce/ Personality Test. Competitive Examination will be held in Kolkata, West Bengal in last week of June, 2018.
