HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 30 POSTS OF DISTRICT JUDGES. LAST DATE — 30/04/2018
1. DISTRICT JUDGES
No. of Vacancies: 30 Nos. (SC:10, ST:02, Cat-I:04, Cat-II(A):10, Cat-II(B):04)
Educational Qualification:
i) Candidate must have a Degree in Law from a recognized University.
ii) Must be practicing as an Advocate for a period not less than 07 years.
Public Prosecutor/ Assistant Public Prosecutor/ Govt. Counsel in full time employment of the state having not less than 07 years of continuous practice are also eligible for appointment.
Age Limit: Below 45 years as on 30/04/2018
Pay Scale: Rs.51550-63070/-
The candidates will be appointed through Direct Recruitment basis. The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of Two years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years for SC/ST category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Competitive Examination consisting of three stages namely, Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva-voce.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ST/Cat-I) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of High Court of Karnataka. See released advertisement for more details.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of High Court of Karnataka — http://karnatakajudiciary.kar.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) on or before 30/04/2018.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
