ADDITIONAL DISTRICT AND SESSIONS JUDGE
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (Gen-03, SC-03)
Educational Qualification:
i) An Advocate for not less than 07 years.
ii) Candidate must possess thorough knowledge of Hindi in Devnagari Script and English.
iii) Prosecuting Officer/ Assistant Prosecuting Officer are also to be treated as an Advocate and eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 35 years and must be below 45 years as on 01/01/2018.
Pay Scale: Rs.51550-63070/-
Reserved Category candidates of other states than Uttarakhand will be treated as General Category candidates. Persons already in the service of Union or of the State shall not be eligible for recruitment.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Viva-voce. The Preliminary Examination will be held on 01/07/2018 and Main Examination will be held on 11/08/2018 and 12/08/2018 at High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.750/- (Rs.500/- for SC) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar General, High Court of Uttarakhand, Nainital, payable at Nainital.

Candidates must also enclose 02 (size 25 cm x 11 cm) Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.25/-.
The envelope containing the print-out/enclosures should be superscribed on top with — “APPLICATION FOR THE H.J.S-2018”.
