Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank is recruiting 85 Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Eligible candidates who have appeared and qualified the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September, 2012 may apply for the vacancies. Application is to be submitted online from the official website of the bank. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —
1. OFFICER SCALE – I
Number of Vacancies: 35 Nos. (Gen—18; SC—5; ST—3; OBC—9)
Qualification: Degree in any discipline and proficiency in local language of Himachal Pradesh ,i.e. Hindi, and must have studied the language as a subject at Matriculation level.
2. OFFICE ASSISTANT (MULTIPURPOSE)
Number of Vacancies: 40 Nos. (Gen—20; SC—6; ST—3; OBC—11). Out of them 01 for PWD and 4 for Ex-servicemen.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline and proficiency in local language of Himachal Pradesh ,i.e. Hindi, and must have studied the language as a subject at Matriculation level.
Essential Requirement: Beside above mentioned qualification, candidates must have appeared at the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.
Candidates should have obtained the specified Total Weighted Standard Score as well as score in each test in the RRBs- Common Written Examination conducted in September 2012.For Standard Qualifying Marks and TWS, see the below given URL.
Age Limit:
For Officer Scale- I— Above 18 years – Below 28 years
For Office Assistant— Between 18 years and 28 years
Age will be counted as on 01-06-2012. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale: —
Officer Scale-I: Rs.14500—25700
Office Assistant (MP): Rs.7200—19300
Candidates’ Selection:
Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview. Merit list of the candidates for final selection based on Total Weighted Standard Scores (TWSS) obtained by them in CWE of IBPS and Personal Interview will be prepared in descending order under each SC/ST/OBC/UR category.
The Interview will be held at the Mandi, (H.P.) centre and the complete address of the venue will be advised in the call letters. All eligible candidates will be issued call letters at the correspondence address given by the candidates in their application form, which will be sent by post/ courier
Application Fee (For both posts) —
Rs.100/- for all General and OBC candidates and Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Requisite Application Fee may be paid through CBS at any of the Branches of HIMACHAL PRADESH GRAMIN BANK or PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK, by means of a Payment challans available on the Bank’s website.
