1. SENIOR SCALE STENOGRAPHER
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
ii) Should possess a speed of 100 WPM and 80 WPM in English and Hindi shorthand respectively.
iii) Should possess a speed of 40 WPM in English typewriting and 30 WPM in Hindi typewriting on Computer.
iv) Should have the knowledge of word processing in Computer.
Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

2. COMPUTER OPERATOR

Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Computer Science or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institution.

ii) Three years Diploma Course in Computer Science/ Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized Polytechnic Institute.

iii) Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University and Diploma of at least one year duration in Computer Application/ Computer Programming or its equivalent from a recognized University or Institute.

Educational Qualification: Should have passed Matriculation Examination or its equivalent from recognized Board/ Institution.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 45 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.4900-10680/- with Grade Pay Rs.1300/-
The vacancies are in the Office of Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC). The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis.
Reserved Category candidates from the States other than Himachal Pradesh shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/OBC/WFF/PWD candidates of Himachal Pradesh.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of Marks obtained in Qualifying Examination, Written Examination, Shorthand Test, Typing Test and Driving Skill Test wherever applicable. The Written Examination may be conducted at Shimla, Mandi and Dharamshala.
