Post Graduate Teacher (Informatics Practices)
No. of Vacancies: 632 Nos. (Gen-331, SC-149, ST-32, OBC-120)
Educational Qualification: B.E. or B. Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent degree OR B.E. or B. Tech. (any Stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/ Technology/ Applications or equivalent OR M. Sc. (Computer Science)/ MCA or equivalent OR Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics/ Physics with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/ Applications OR B” or “C” level course from DOEACC Society, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
Candidates must have 50% marks or its equivalent in any of the concerned qualification.
Experience: At least five years or more as Computer Teacher in Schools of Himachal Pradesh.
Candidates must have Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-45 years as on 01.01.2016.
Pay Scale: Rs.10300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Screening Test, Examination, Interview and Personality Test
Note: Candidates belonging to States other than Himachal Pradesh will be treated as General candidates.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.400/- (Rs.100/- for General BPL, SC, ST and OBC of Himachal Pradesh) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan.
