SUBORDINATE ALLIED SERVICES/ POSTS EXAMINATION-2016
On basis of the Examination, candidates will be selected for the following 70 Nos. vacancies: –
1. Tehsil Welfare Officer (Contract basis): 11 Nos. (Gen.-06, S.C.-02, S.T.-01,OBC-02)
Educational Qualification:Â Candidate should be graduate or its equivalent.
Desirable: Knowledge of Customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for
appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh
Age Limit:Â Between 18 years and 45 years as on 01-01-2016
Pay Scale:Â Rs.14500/- per month
2. Excise & Taxation Inspectors (Regular basis): 12 Nos. (Gen-07,SC-02, OBC-01,Gen.BPL=02)
Educational Qualification:Â Candidate should be graduate or its equivalent.
Desirable:- Knowledge of Customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for
appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh
Age Limit:Â Between 18 years and 45 years as on 01-01-2016
Pay Scale:Â i) Pay Band Rs.10300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.3600 ii) Pay Band Rs.10300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
3. Panchayat Inspector (Contract basis): 05 Nos. (Gen-01, SC-02, OBC-01 & Gen.BPL=01)
Educational Qualification:Â Candidate should be graduate or its equivalent.

4. Inspector (Audit) Cooperative Societies (Contract basis): 33 Nos. (Gen-14, S.C.-05, S.T.- 01, OBC – 04, Gen. BPL- 03, S.C.BPL -02, S.T. BPL – 01, OBC BPL-02, Gen.WFF-01)
Educational Qualification:Â Candidate should be graduate or its equivalent.

5. Election Kanungo (Contract basis): 10 Nos. (Gen-06, Gen. BPL-01, OBC-03)
Educational Qualification:Â Candidate should be graduate or its equivalent.
Desirable:- Knowledge of Customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for
appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh
Age Limit:Â Between 18 years and 45 years as on 01-01-2016
Pay Scale:Â Rs.8910/- per month
Note: Reserved category candidates belonging to other states will be treated as General category candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Screening Test and Interview. Test will be conducted at various centers located at Shimla/ Mandi/ Dharamshala / Solan / Una /Â Nahan / Bilaspur / Kullu, Hamirpur and Chamba.

Examination Fee:Â Candidates must pay Rs.400/- (Rs.100/- in case of Gen BPL, SC, ST, OBC of Himachal Pradesh) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Himachal Pradesh Public Service commission. See released advertisement for more details.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF EX-SERVICEMEN AND PWD OF HIMACHAL PRADESH CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
