Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Mumbai, is recruiting 250 Graduate Engineers through GATE-2013 in discipline of – Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication and Instrumentation. Interested and Eligible candidates are required to appear for GATE- 2013 in respective discipline. Qualification norms and criteria in brief is given below—
GRADUATE ENGINEERS: 250 Nos. (Gen—125; SC—38; ST—19; OBC-Noncreamy—68). Out of total 3% of vacancies are reserved for PH candidates.
Qualification required according to discipline wise —
1. Mechanical: Full time bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Mechanical & Production Engineering.
2. Civil: Full time bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
3. Electrical: Full time bachelor’s degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Instrumentation & Electronics Engineering.
4. Instrumentation: Full time bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electronics.
N.B: Candidates must have acquired minimum 60% of marks in above mentioned Qualification requirement (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates).
The final year Engineering candidates may also apply.
Eligibility Condition: Eligible and Interested candidates in the above posts will have to qualify GATE- 2013 Examination in respective discipline. Therefore candidates will have apply for GATE 2013 first. After qualifying the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2013 Examination only, they can apply for above posts in HPCL through online application system.
Age Limits: between 25yrs to 30yrs as on June 2013. Upper age relaxation as per norms.
Selection steps: On basis of marks obtained in GATE 2013, a shortlist will be prepared. The shortlisted candidates will be then called for Group Discussion/ Group Task and or Personal Interview. There will be no Written Test again.

After successful registration in GATE, candidates will be provided Registration No. along with their Admit card.
