HQ Bengal Engineer Group (BEG) and Centre Roorkee is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 28 posts of Lower Division Clerk, CTI (Electrician), Storekeeper, Cook, Messenger (MTS), Washerman, Watchman and Lascar. 1. Lower Division Clerk: 03 Nos. (Gen-01, ST-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: 12th or equivalent.
Candidates must have typing speed of 35 wpm in English or Hindi.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

 

2. CTI (Electrician): 01 Nos. (Gen-01)
Educational Qualification: High School or equivalent with ITI National Certificate of Trade and Vocational Training in concerned Trade.
Candidates should have adequate skill and knowledge of imparting training to recruits.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

 

3. Store Keeper: 05 Nos. (Gen-04, ST-01)
Educational Qualification: 12th or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification: i)Minimum one year experience in similar work, ii) Knowledge of Computer in MS Word and iii) Certificate courses in Store Keeping /Store
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

 

4. Cook: 01 Nos. (Gen-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.
Candidates must have knowledge of Indian Cooking and proficiency in trade.
Candidates should be conversant with duties of his trade any higher qualification and one year experience for the post of Cook.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

 

5. Messenger (MTS): 03 Nos. (Gen-03)
Educational Qualification: High School or equivalent.
Candidates should be conversant with duties of his trade any higher qualification and one year experience for the post Messenger.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

6. Washerman: 01 Nos. (Gen-01)
Educational Qualification: High School or equivalent.
Candidates should be conversant with duties of his trade and one year experience for the post Washerman.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

7. Watchman (MTS): 01 Nos. (Gen-01)
Educational Qualification: High School or equivalent.
Candidates should be conversant with duties of his trade any higher qualification and one year experience for the post Watchman.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

8. Lascar: 13 Nos. (Gen-10, OBC-01, PWD-02)
Educational Qualification: High School or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Practical Test.
