HQ, COAST GUARD REGION (NW) IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 03 POSTS OF ENGINE DRIVER, SARANG LASCAR AND MOTOR TRANSPORT FITTER. LAST DATE — 09/02/2016
1. Engine Driver: 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Certificate of competency of Engine Driver.
Desirable:- Two years service as Sarang on a Vessel of over
four hundred Boat Horse Power.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on last date of receiving applications
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/- Rs-20200/- Grade Pay-Rs.1900/-
2. Sarang Lascar: 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and Certificate of competency as Sarang.
Desirable: Two years experience as Sarang-in-charge of a Vessel of twenty Horse Power.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years as on last date of receiving applications
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/- Rs-20200/- Grade Pay-Rs.1900/-
3. Motor Transport Fitter: 01 Nos. (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. as per Govt. instructions issued from time and two years experience in automobile workshop.
Desirable:- LT.I diploma in relevant trade.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years as on last date of receiving applications
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200/- Rs-20200/- Grade Pay-Rs.1900/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test / Interview.
