Headquarters Eastern Air Command IAF, Kolkata, is recruiting eligible candidates for the following 87 Group-C posts – Stenographer, Storekeeper, Hindi Typist, LDC, CMTD, MTS, Mess Staff, Safaiwala, Cook, Dhobi and Carpenter. HQ EASTERN AIR COMMAND INVITES APPLICATION FOR 87 STENO, STOREKEEPER, TYPIST, LDC AND ETC. LAST DATE – 25/01/2015
1. Steno-II: 02 posts.
Qualification: Class 12 pass/ equivalent ability to take dictation at 80 words per minute for 10 minutes and transcript the same on computer within 50 minutes (if English) or 65 minutes (if Hindi).
2. Storekeeper: 1 post.
Qualification: Class 12 pass/ equivalent and experience in the field.
3. Hindi Typist: 1 post.
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent and Typing speed at 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
4. Lower Division Clerk: 3 posts.
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent and Typing speed at 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
5. CMTD: 06 posts.
Qualification: Class 10 pass and professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism. Shall possess valid driving license for heavy and light vehicle. Experience—Minimum two years of vehicle driving experience.
6. MTS: 39 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent. Desirable—one year experience as Watchman or Lascar or Mali is desirable.
7. Mess Staff: 13 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent with minimum 6 months experience in the trade.
8. Safaiwala: 11 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass.
9. Cook: 09 posts.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent with minimum 6 months experience in the trade.
10. Dhobi: 1 post.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass. Experience of one year as Dhobi is desirable.
11. Carpenter: 1 post.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent and ITI certificate in the trade/ akin field.
Age Limit:
(i) For LDC: 18—27yrs
(ii) For Others: 18—25yrs.
The age will be counted as on last date of receipt of application.
Upper age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 10 years for PWD candidates. Relaxation for Ex-servicemen will be as per govt. norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 AND Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- (for LDC, SK, Typist, Painter, Carpenter, Cook, CMTD), Rs.2400/- (for Steno) and Rs.1800/- for rest of all posts.

Getting a domicile certificate is not a tough task. Visit your Panchayat Office and Block Development Office. It can be made just in one day.

It is mentioned nowhere in the advertisement but since the recruitment is in Indian Army, I will recommend you to apply for one post only. It is also possible that selection date of one or more posts may fall on same day.
