Indian Air Force – HQ Maintenance Command, is inviting application for 162 Group “C” civilian posts viz. – Electrician, Multi Tasking Staff, Safaiwala, Lower Division Clerk, Mechanic, Lab Assistant, Storekeeper, Steno, Safaiwala and Etc, for different Air Force station. 1. Electrician: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: ITI passed in the Trade.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

2. MTS: 50Nos. (Gen—34; OBC—20; SC—6; Exs—8; PWD—5 & ST—7)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed with 1 year experience as Watchman/Lascar/Gestener/Operator/Mali.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

3. Safaiwala: 35 Nos. (Gen—19; OBC—10; ST—1 & SC—5)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

4. Lower Division Clerk: 6 Nos. (Gen—2; ST—1; OBC—2 & Exs—1)
Educational Qualification: 12th passed and shall possess typing speed 35 wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

5. Cook: 8 Nos. (SC—1; OBC—3 & Gen—4)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed with 6 months experience in the field.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

6. Mess Staff: 11 Nos. (Gen—6 OBC—4 & SC—1)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed with 1 year experience.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

7. Dhobi: 1 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed with 1 year experience.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

8. Carpenter: 7 Nos. (Gen—6 & OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: ITI passed in the Trade.

9. A/C Mechanic (A): 1 Nos. (ESM)
Educational Qualification: ITI passed in the Trade with 3 years experience.

10. Painter: 6 Nos. (Gen—4; ESM—1& ST—1)
Educational Qualification: ITI passed in the Trade.

11. Instrument Repairer: 1 Nos. (ESM)
Educational: ITI passed in the Trade.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

12. Laboratory Assistant: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: B.SC. with one year’s experience in a laboratory.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2800/- per month.

13. Store Keeper: 5 Nos. (OBC—2; SC—1 & Gen—2)
Educational Qualification: 12th pass and experience in handling stores and keeping Accounts in a store.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

14. Supdt. Store: 1 Nos. (OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: Graduate and experience in handling stores and keeping Accounts in a store.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month.

 

15. Radar Mechanic: 1 (ESM)

Educational Qualification: ITI passed in same Trade with 2 years experience.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month.

 

16. Fitter Mechanic Transport: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1 & ESM—1)
Educational Qualification: ITI passed in same Trade.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

17. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; OBC—1 & ESM—1)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed with 2 years experience in both light and heavy vehicles.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

18. Fireman: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1 & OBC—1)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed with prescribed physical standards (See PDF file given below)
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

19. Telephone Operator: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: 10th pass with English as a compulsory and knowledge in handling PBX with Fluency in English.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

20. Steno: 1 Nos. (ST—1)
Educational Qualification: 12th pass with ability to take Shorthand dictation for 10 minutes at 80wpm AND Transcription of same within 65mts for English or 75 mts for Hindi on Manual Typewriter and 50mts in English or 65mts in Hindi on Computer.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month.

 

21. Labourer on Amn. Duty: 8 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—3 & ESM—2)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

22. Dhobi: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed with 1 year experience.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

23. Ayah: 7 Nos. (Gen—3; OBC—2; SC—1 & ST—1)
Educational Qualification: 10th passed with 1 year experience.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

Note: The vacancies are further distributed as per Stations/ Units wise under HQ Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force. Age Limit: for the post of LDC, Fireman and Steno, the candidates should be 18 to 27 years and for rest of all other posts, 18 to 25 years. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates is 5 years; OBC is 3 years and others as per govt. norms.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written test; Physical Test (wherever applicable) and Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
