HQ Western Air Command, Indian Air Force, is inviting application for recruitment of 92 Multi Tasking Staff, Mess Staff, Safaiwala, Lower Division Clerk and Etc. for various Air Force Stations/ Units (see below). Interested and eligible candidates may submit their application to the concerned stations/ units. Educational qualification norms and brief details are given below —
1. Multi Tasking Staff: 37 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent qualification
Age: 18—25yrs.
2. Mess Staff: 16 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent
Age: 18—25yrs.
3. Safaiwala: 16 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent
Age: 18—25yrs.
4. Storekeeper: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. Experience in handling stores and keeping accounts in a store is desirable.
Age: 18—25yrs.
6. Lower Division Clerk: 5 Nos.
Qualification: Class 12 pass/ equivalent and typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
Age: 18—27yrs.
7. Ayah: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. One year experience as Ayah is desirable.
Age: 18—25yrs.
8. ASK: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Class 12 pass/ equivalent. Experience in handling stores and keeping accounts of store is desirable.
Age: 18—25yrs.
9. Cook: 7 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation with 06 months experience in the trade.
Age: 18—25yrs.
10. Painter: 3 Nos.
Qualification: ITI Certificate in the trade/ akin field.
Age: 18—25yrs
11. CMTD: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Class 10 or ITI or equivalent and must be holding driving license for light and heavy vehicles and shall have minimum 2yrs experience in the driving.
Age: 18—25yrs.
12. Carpenter: 1 Nos.
Qualification: ITI Certificate in the trade or in akin field.
Age: 18—25yrs
13. Dhobi: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. Experience in the field is desirable.
Age: 18—25yrs.
14. Draughtsman Grade-III: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Matriculation/ equivalent and 2yrs Diploma in Mechanical Drawing or Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or electrical Engineering or Draughtsmanship (Mech./Civil) for an ITI / equivalent. Experience—about 5yrs in the field.
Age: 18—25 yrs.
Upper age relaxation: Age mentioned above will be counted as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms..
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination for all trades based on qualification as indicated against the posts.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates willing to apply shall forward their application as per prescribed application format (see PDF file below) along with enclosures in support of eligibility, to the concerned Air Force Stations/ Unit (See the PDF below for address list).
Application shall be enclosed with duly self attested copies of certificates supporting qualification norms, age proof, experience, if any, caste certificate and etc.
Candidates shall also enclose on Self-addressed envelope (24x11cms in size) with requisite postal stamp.
The envelope containing the application shall be superscribed with — “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ______ IN ______ UNIT”
Candidates applying for more than one post shall send each application separately.
