Indian Air Force (IAF), HQ Eastern Air Command Units, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 40 posts of Hindi Typist, Storekeeper, Cook, Carpenter, Painter, Safaiwala, Mess Staff, Labourer, Dhobi, Vulcaniser and Draughtsman. Vacancies in HQ EAC (U)

1. CLK Hindi Typist: 01 (UR)
Qualification: Class 12 pass and should have Typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.

 

Vacancies in 51 ASP

1. Storekeeper: 01 (UR)
Qualification: Graduate from recognized University or equivalent pass. Experience in handling stores and keeping accounts is desirable.

 

2. CLK (U)/ Hindi Typist: 01 (UR)
Qualification: Class 12 pass and should have Typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer.

 

3. Draughtsman III: 01 (UR)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and 02 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Drawing or Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Draughtsmanship (Mech or Civil) from an ITI or equivalent and 05 years experience in Draughtsmanship in a reputed firms/institute.

 

4. Cook: 08 (UR-4; SC-1; ST-1; OBC-2)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with six months experience in the trade.

 

5. Carpenter: 01 (OBC)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and ITI certificate in the field/ trade.

 

6. Painter: 02 (UR)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and ITI certificate in the field/ trade.

 

7. Safaiwala: 10 (UR-6; SC-1; OBC-3)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent pass.

 

8. Mess Staff: 06 (UR-4; ST-1; OBC-1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with six months experience in the trade.

 

9. Labourer on Ammunition Duty: 05 (UR-3; SC-1; OBC-1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.

 

10. Dhobi: 02 (UR-1; OBC-Ex Serviceman-1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent. 03 years experience as Dhobi is desirable.

 

11. Vulcaniser: 01 (UR)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.

 

Age Limits: 18 years to 27 years for Hindi Typist and 18yrs to 25yrs for rest of all other posts. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD & as per Govt. norms for Ex-Servicemen & others

 

Pay Scales:
(i) For Hindi Typist/ Carpenter/ Cook: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 plus Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
(ii) For Storekeeper: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 plus Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-
(iii) For rest of Others: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 plus Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview.
