The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is seeking applications for Deputy Director/Executive Positions. Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience in intelligence work may be eligible to apply.

There are two vacancies available for Deputy Director/Executive Posts. Interested and eligible candidates are encouraged to submit their applications to the designated address provided below by May 24, 2024. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be officers from the Central Government, State Governments, or Union Territories, excluding IPS officers.
They should either hold a similar position in their current cadre or department or have served for two years in Level 13 or equivalent.
Ex-servicemen of the rank of Brigadier or equivalent are also eligible.
Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute.
Applicants must have five years of experience in intelligence work, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, or counterespionage.

Salary:
- The position falls under General-Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted Non-Ministerial.
- The salary is in Level 13A (Rs. 1,31,100 – Rs. 2,41,600) as per the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Interested officers should submit their applications to the Joint Deputy Director/G-3, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, 35/S P Marg, Bapu Dham, New Delhi-110021, before May 24, 2024.
Required documents include a filled and signed bio-data form, updated ACRs/APARs for the last five years, vigilance clearance, and integrity certificate.

Applications received after the deadline or lacking necessary documents will not be considered.
Once applied, candidates cannot withdraw their applications.
The appointed officer will receive a Special Security Allowance of 20% along with other perks.
The deputation period may be adjusted based on service requirements, following guidelines set by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoP&T).
