IBPS – Online CWE-III for RRBs for recruitment of Officers and Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Last Dt. 09/07/2014

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is going to conduct Online Common Written Examination for RRBs (RRBs CWE-III) for recruitment of Group ‘A’ Officers and Group ‘B’- Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The Examination will be hold on tentatively in September,2014. Candidates who will qualify this examination can apply for vacancies in any participating Regional Rural Bank (RRB) (See list below). Qualification requirement and short details are given below —

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE AS ON 09.07.2014: 
Post: Office Assistant (Multipurpose): — Degree in any discipline and proficiency in local language of the State/UT where the RRB is located. Knowledge of computer is desirable.

Post: Officer Scale-I:— Degree in any discipline. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Shall have proficiency in local language of the State/UT where the RRB is located. Knowledge of computer will be taken as added qualification.

Post: Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer):— Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
Experience — 02 years as an Officer in a Bank/ Financial Institution.

Post: Officer Scale-II (Specialist Officers)
— IT Officer: Degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate AND 01 year experience.
— Chartered Accountant: CA and 01 year experience
— Law Officer: Degree in Law or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate and 02yrs experience
— Treasury Manager: CA or MBA in Finance AND 01 year experience
— Marketing Officer: MBA in Marketing AND 01 year experience
— Agricultural Officer: Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Pisciculture with minimum 50% marks in aggregate AND 02 years experience.

Post: Officer Scale-III:— Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree/ Diploma in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Experience— Minimum 05yrs as an Officer in a Bank/ Financial Institutions.

AGE (AS ON 01.06.2014)
For Officer Scale- III: Above 21 years – Below 40 years
For Officer Scale- II: Above 21 years – Below 32 years
For Officer Scale- I: Above 18 years – Below 28 years
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years and 28 years
Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

APPLICATION FEE/ INTIMATION CHARGES
Officer (Scale I, II & III): Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates AND Rs. 600/- for all others
Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates AND Rs. 600/- for all others

A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.
Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees separately for each post.

After completing the procedure of applying on-line including payment of fees, the candidate should take a printout of the system generated on-line application form three days after fee payment, ensure the particulars filled in are accurate and retain it along with Registration Number and Password for future reference. DO NOT SEND ANY HARD COPY OR PRINT-OUT TO THE IBPS/ BANKS.
