ICAR – Indian Agricultural Research Institute is recruiting 40 Sr.Technical Officer, Technical Assistant, Field Man, Library Assistant and Fitter  for IARI Hq., New Delhi and its Regional Stations. ICAR – IARI INVITES APPLICATION FOR 40 POSTS OF TECHNICAL OFFICER/ ASSISTANT, FIELD MAN, LIB ASST. AND FITTER. LAST DATE — 17/05/2015

 

1. Sr. Technical Officer (Field/Farm Technician): 02 Nos. (Gen-01 & OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture or any other branches of Science/Social Science relevant to Agriculture or equivalent qualification.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

 

2. Technical Assistant (Field/Farm Technician): 26 Nos. (Gen-13; OBC-07; SC-04 & ST-02)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or any other branch of Science/Social Science relevant to Agriculture or equivalent qualification.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2800/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

 

3. Technical Assistant (Library Services): 02 Nos. (Gen-01 & OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Library Science/ Library & Information Science or equivalent qualification.
Desirable Qualification: Experience of working in the relevant field in a University/Institute/Council or any other organization and candidates should have knowledge of one foreign language.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2800/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

 

4. Field Man (Field/Farm Technician): 07 Nos. (Gen-03; OBC-02; ST-01 & SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/Matriculation passed with at least one year certificate in Agriculture.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

 

5. Library Assistant (Library Services): 02 Nos. (Gen-01 & OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/Matriculation passed with at least one year certificate in Library Science/Library & Information Science.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

 

6. Fitter (Workshop staff including Engineering workshop): 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/Matriculation passed with at least one year certificate in Fitter.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.

 

Age Limit as on 01.01.2015 (for all posts): 18 to 30 years for Technical Assistant , Field Man, Library Assistant & Fitter and 18 to 35 years for Sr. Technical Officer. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years; OBC is 3 years and others as per govt. norms.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
