ICAR – National Institute of Abiotic Stress Management (NIASM) is recruiting eligible candidates for 02 posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and Field Assistant (FA). Candidates selected for the post will be on contractual basis for a period three years for the project entitled “Conservation agriculture for enhancing resource-use efficiency, environmental quality and productivity of sugarcane cropping system”. ICAR – NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF ABIOTIC STRESS MANAGEMENT (NIASM) WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 02 POSTS OF SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF) AND FIELD ASSISTANT (FA). WALK-IN DATE — 09.01.2018

 

  1. SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (SRF)
    No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
    Educational Qualification: Post graduate in Agronomy/ Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry/ M. Sc (Agri.) with specialization in Agrometeorology/ Agricultural Physics
    Desirable: i) Experience of conducting/ monitoring research trials especially in the areas of conservation/ precision agriculture.
    ii) Good practical knowledge on field and laboratory methods/ protocols for various soil,
    plant and water parameters.
    iii) Good knowledge of computer and statistical analysis.
    Age Limit: Maximum-35 years for men and 40 years for women.
    Consolidated Pay: Rs.25000/- for 1st & 2nd year Rs.28000/- for 3rd year. per month.

 

  1. FIELD ASSISTANT (FA)
    No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
    Educational Qualification: Graduate in Agricultural Sciences.
    Experience: Experience of working in field as well as in laboratory and computer work.
    Age Limit: Maximum-35 years for men and 40 years for women.
    Consolidated Pay: Rs. 15,000/- per month.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Test/ Interview.
