1. Scientist-B Plant Taxonomy: 02 Nos. (SC-01, UR-01)
Educational Qualification: First Class M.Sc. degree in Botany OR First Class M.Sc. degree in Forestry.
Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. Degree in Botany with specialization in Higher Plant Taxonomy.
Age Limit: Maximum-30 years as on 22.03.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600/- Rs.39, 100/- and Grade Pay Rs.5, 400/-
2. Scientist-B Biochemistry: 01 Nos. (ST-01)
Educational Qualification: First Class M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry with specialization in Natural Product.

Educational Qualification: First Class B.E / B.Tech degree in Computer Science OR First Class in Master of Computer Application or equivalent.
Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology.
M.Tech degree in computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology.
Age Limit: Maximum-30 years as on 22.03.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.15, 600/- Rs.39, 100/- and Grade Pay Rs.5, 400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. Written Examination will be conducted at Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehra Dun at Rain Forest Research (RFRI), Jorhat.
