LIBRARY AND INFORMATION OFFICER
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science.
Experience: Five year’s professional experience in a Library.
Desirable: i) One year experience of computing Library activities in a Library under Central/State Government/Autonomous or Statutory organization/University or recognized Research or Educational Institution.
ii) One year Professional experience in specific areas of activities of the Scientific organizations vis. Generation of Information document, Digitization of Library, ISDN etc.
iii) Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Institute.
Age Limit: Maximum-40 years
Pay Scale: Rs.15,600 – Rs.39,100 and Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Competitive written test and Personal discussion/interview.
