Education Qualification:
Candidate must have passed 1st class three-year Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology / Medical Microbiology / Virology and Immunology/ Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biophysics/ Genetics from a recognized University.
Age Limit for ICMR-NIV Recruitment 2023
Age Limit:
For Technical Assistant Post – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 30 years.
For Technician-I Post – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 28 years.
Age Relaxation:
The maximum relaxation in the upper age limit will be as follows –
For OBC candidates – 3 years
For SC/ST candidates – 5 years
For PwBD candidates – 10 years
For (PwBD) + OBC candidates – 13 years

Pay Scale Details For ICMR-NIV Recruitment 2023
Pay Scale:
(i) Technical Assistant (Group-B Technical Non-Ministerial) Level-6 Rs.35400 to 112400 of 7th CPC.
(ii) Technician-I (Group-C Technical Non-Ministerial) Level-2 Rs.19900 to 63200/- of 7th CPC.
Selection Process For ICMR-NIV Recruitment 2023
Selection Process:
Eligible candidates will be called for a selection process consisting of Online Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification. Information for admission will be provided. After CBT and document verification wherever applicable, ICMR-NIV merit list for each category post.
Computer-Based Test (CBT) Exam – The CBT will be conducted in English or Hindi for 90 minutes and will consist of 100 questions, totaling 100 marks exam. CBT consists of Section ‘A’ of 30 marks and Section ‘B’ of 70 marks.
