Social Behavioral Research Division, ICMR Hqrs, New Delhi, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 05 posts of Scientist-B (Social Science), Project Technical Officer, Administrative Assistant, Stenographer and Data Entry Operator. SOCIAL BEHAVIORAL RESEARCH DIVISION, ICMR HQRS, IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 05 POSTS OF SCIENTIST-B (SOCIAL SCIENCE), PROJECT TECHNICAL OFFICER, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, STENOGRAPHER AND DATA ENTRY OPERATOR . LAST DATE — 07/04/2016

1. Scientist-B (Social Science): 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: First Class Master’s Degree OR 2nd Class Master’s Degree plus Ph.D. degree in the following subject (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work)
Desirable Qualification:
i) Ph. D in related subject with first class Master’s Degree
ii) Three Years research experiences in relevant area
iii) Knowledge of Statistical techniques / Computer Application / Data Management.
iv) Experiences in handling research projects and report writing
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.44, 730/- per month.

 

2. Project Technical Officer (Psychologist / Social Scientist): 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: First Class Master’s Degree OR 2nd Class Master’s Degree plus M. Phil/Diploma degree in the following subject- Psychology, Sociology, Social Work
Desirable Qualification:
i) Ph. D in related subject.
ii) Two Years research experiences in relevant area
iii) Knowledge of Statistical techniques / Computer Application / Data Management.
iv) Experiences in handling research projects and report writing
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.29, 607/- per month.

 

3. Administrative Assistant: 01 Nos. (SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any subject with 5 years experiences of Accounts or Administrative areas.
Desirable Qualification:
i) Knowledge in Computer application.
ii) Experiences of working in a reputed scientific organization
Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.29, 607/- per month.

 

4. Stenographer: 01 Nos. (OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree
Candidates must have minimum speed of 120 wpm in English shorthand and 30 wpm in English typing on Computer.
Desirable Qualification:
Knowledge in Computer application and working experiences
Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16, 188/- per month.

 

5. Data Entry Operator (Grade ‘A’): 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass in Sciences Stream with Mathematics as a subject OR Graduate in any subject and minimum one year course in computer applications.
Typing – Not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through speed test on computer
Desirable Qualification: Candidates with relevant work experiences in a Scientific organization would be preferred.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16, 188/- per month.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Personal Discussion and Interview
