IDBI Bank Recruitment Qualification
Candidates must complete a Full-time Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering disciplines preferably Electronics & Telecommunications/ Computer Science/ Electronics & Electrical/ Information Technology/
Electronics & Communication or Master’s in Computer Application from a University/ Institute recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory bodies.
Applicants possessing Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) / Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)/ Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)/ Certified Information System Auditor (CISA)/ would be preferred.
IDBI Bank Recruitment Age Limit
The candidate’s age limit should be between 45 years to 55 years.
Note: Extendable up to 5 years at the Bank’s discretion subject to regulatory / statuary guidelines.
IDBI Bank Recruitment Selection Process
Here are the stages of the selection process:
Preliminary Screening: First, all applications will be reviewed based on certain requirements like qualifications and experience mentioned in the job advertisement.
Provisional Candidature: If your application passes this initial screening, you’ll be considered provisionally for the job. This means your application looks good on paper, but your qualifications and documents will be checked later.
Verification: Before the final decision is made, your documents will be verified against the originals when you go for a Personal Interview (PI), if you are selected to attend one.
Personal Interview (PI): Only candidates who are shortlisted after the preliminary screening will be called for a Personal Interview. This interview will play a significant role in the selection process.
Notification of Interview Details: If you’re shortlisted for the interview, you’ll receive an email or a call letter telling you where and when the interview will take place. You must bear the expenses of attending the interview yourself. Requests to change the interview details won’t be accepted.
Selection Process: Your performance in the Personal Interview will be the main factor in determining your selection. However, depending on the number of suitable candidates, the bank might change the selection process.
Final Selection: If you perform well in the interview, rank high enough on the merit list, and meet all the eligibility criteria, you’ll be considered for final selection. Being medically fit is also important according to the bank’s standards.
Tiebreaker: If multiple candidates score the same marks in the interview, their ages will be considered, with the older candidate getting a higher rank.
Limited Interview Slots: The bank will only call a specific number of candidates for the interview based on their initial screening.
Lower Grade Offer: Sometimes, even if you apply for a higher position and meet the requirements, the bank might offer you a lower grade position. If you accept, you’ll be paid according to the lower grade’s salary.
List of Documents to be produced at the time of PI (as applicable):
The following documents in original together with a self-attested photocopy in support of the candidate’s eligibility and identity are to be invariably
submitted at the time of the interview failing which the candidate may not be permitted to appear for the interview.
- 1. Print out the original and valid Interview Call Letter.
- 2. Photo Identify Proof as indicated in Point 7 below.
- 3. Mark sheets & provisional / degree certificates for educational qualifications.
- 4. Work Experience Certificate For the Past employer.
- 5. Candidates serving in Government/ Quasi Govt. Offices/ Public Sector Undertakings (including Nationalized Banks and Financial Institutions) are required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of joining the Bank, in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered.
- 6. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview if he/ she fails to produce the relevant eligibility documents as mentioned above.
Note: Inability to produce any of the above-mentioned documents (both original and attested copy) at the time of the interview will render the candidates ineligible for the selection. No documents shall be directly sent to the Bank by candidates before or after the interview.
