Educational Qualification for IGIB Recruitment 2023
The Candidates must have passed a Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Candidates must have passed a Master’s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
OR
Candidates must have passed a Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level;
OR
Candidates must have passed post-graduation in any subject other than Hindi from a recognized University or level with English, English medium with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject, or as a medium of examination in the degree.
OR
Candidates must have passed a Master’s Degree from a recognized University in any subject except Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or optional subjects or one examination of the two as a medium and the other as a compulsory or optional subject in the degree hand.
AND
Candidates with a recognized diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa or two years of experience in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central Government or State Government offices including Government India Undertaking.
Age Limit for IGIB Recruitment 2023
The candidate’s maximum age is 30 years. Check the official notification for more details.
The upper age limit is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates for the posts. Age Relaxation for PwBD Candidates 10 years for posts [Total 15 years for SCs/STs and 13 years for OBC (NCL) Upper age relaxation for ex-servicemen is applicable as per GOI norms.

Selection Process for IGIB Recruitment 2023
Candidates will be selected for the post through an open written competitive examination.
i) Paper-I Candidates will take OMR-based or computer-based objective type multiple choice test.
ii) Paper-II Candidates will be taken descriptive type.
Written Test Centre:–
The written test of the candidates will be held at the National Capital Region in Delhi. The date, time, and venue of the written test will be intimated in due course, candidates will know through the CSIR-IGIB website and email.

1) Candidates have to apply online through the official website only.
2) Candidates need to apply online through the Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology official website www.igib.res.in only.
3) Candidate must have valid email ID, if no valid email ID then first create a new valid email ID. Time required to apply online.
4) Candidates have to upload their recent passport-size scanned color photograph, signature [between 50 KB], and relevant certificate [between 2-8 MB] in the specified space in the online application. Applications submitted with invalid documents will be rejected.
5) Candidates after online submission of print-out of the application, duly self-attested copies of necessary certificates, mark sheets, age proof, educational qualification, experience, and caste certificate, if applicable, should keep with them and present the same along with the original documents required by the office.
