Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is recruiting 81 – Student Counsellor, Jr. Superintendent, Jr. Accounts Officer, Sr. Assistant and Jr. Assistant. Advt. No. E-II/08/2014 (E). STUDENT COUNSELLING SERVICE, GROUP – A: 1 POST.

1. Student Counsellor — Ph.D. / Post graduate Degree in the fields of Psychology, Sociology or Social work with at least one year relevant clinical experience.

 

ADMINISTRATION CADRE POSTS (NON-TECHNICAL, GROUP – B): 14 POSTS.

2. Jr. Superintendent— Bachelors Degree in any discipline from recognized university with at least 60% marks in all Boards / University examinations with 04 years experience as Sr. Assistant or equivalent in the Grade Pay of Rs.2800/- OR Master’s degree with 60% marks with 01 year experience Sr. Assistant or equivalent in the Grade pay of Rs.2800/-
3. Jr. Accounts Officer — B.Com/ equivalent with 60% marks and 4yrs experience as Sr. Assistant (Accounts) OR M.Com/equivalent with 01 year experience as Sr. Assistant (Accounts). Candidates should have proficiency in Tally and Computer application.

 

ADMINISTRATION CADRE POSTS (NON-TECHNICAL, GROUP – C): 66 POSTS.

4. Sr. Assistant (Catering) — Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent with 60% marks and 01 yr experience in Hotels/ Hostels of Educational Institute / Guest Houses of Public Sector Undertaking / Government Organization etc.
5. Jr. Assistant — Bachelors Degree in any discipline from recognized university with at least 60% marks in all Boards / University examinations. Candidates should have proficiency in Computer applications and should have typing speed of 40 words per minute/ 35 words per minute in English and Hindi respectively on computer.
6. Jr. Assistant (Accounts) — B.Com or equivalent with 60% marks and Proficiency in Tally/ Accounting software. Knowledge of computer applications is required.

 

Age Limit: There is no age limit for Group ‘A’ Sl. No. 01 post and will be decided at the time of shortlisting. However, maximum prescribed age is 32 years for the posts at Sl. No. 02 & 03 and 27 years for the posts at Sl. No. 04 to 06. Age is further relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates

 

Application Fee: Rs.100/- for Group- A post and Rs.50/- for Group B & C posts. Fee should be paid in form of DD/IPO drawn in favour of – Registrar, IIT Delhi and payable at New Delhi. No DD/IPO is required for SC/ST candidates.
