Educational Qualification for IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2023

(1) Senior REO (National Aerosol Facility):- The candidates must have a B.Tech./B.S. in Management or Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial) with 10 years of work experience in a relevant field
OR
M.Tech./M.Sc. 111 Management or Engineering (Mechanical/ Industrial) with 08 years of work experience in relevant field
OR
Ph.D. in Management or Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial) with 05 years of work experience in a relevant field M.Tech. or M.Sc./ M.S. in Physics/ Atmospheric Science/ Chemistry and 08 years of relevant experience.
OR
Ph.D. + 05 years experience.

(2) Senior REO (Imagineering Laboratory):- The candidates must have a B.Tech./B.S. in Management or Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial) with 10 years of work experience in a relevant field
OR
candidates must have M.Tech./M.Sc. 111 Management or Engineering (Mechanical/ Industrial) with 08 years of work experience in relevant field
OR
candidates must have a Ph.D. in Management or Engineering (Mechanical/ Industrial) with 05 years of work experience in a relevant field.

(3) REO (Grade I) (Sustainable Energy Engineering):- The candidates must have candidates must have B.E./ B.Tech. in either of Chemical or Civil or Electrical or Energy, Mechanical or other equivalent branches with a minimum of 5 years of relevant and demonstrated experience in handling multistakeholder projects.
OR
candidates must have an M.E./M. Tech. in either Chemical or Civil or Electrical or Energy,
Mechanical or other equivalent branches with a minimum of 3 years experience handling multistakeholder projects
OR
candidates must have a Ph.D. in either of Chemical or Civil or Electrical or Energy, Mechanical or other equivalent branches

(4) REO (Grade II) (OD, Research & Development):- The candidates must have passed Master of Law (L.L.M) with at least 60% marks from a University /College recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Age Limit for IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2023

(i) Senior REO – The candidate’s maximum age is 48 years. Candidates should be born after 20.12.1975.

(ii) REO (Grade I) – The candidate’s maximum age is 45 years. Candidates should be born after 20.12.1978.

(ii) REO (Grade II) – The candidate’s maximum age is 40 years. Candidates should be born after 20.12.1983.

The upper age limit is relaxed by five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC as per the rules.

Application Fee for IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2023

The candidate’s application fee of Rs. 1000/- is to be paid online only. No application fee is required for SC/ST/PWD/Women/Foreign candidates. Candidates have to submit the application online only, no other mode of application fee will be charged.

2) Candidates need to apply online through IIT Kanpur official website www.iitk.ac.in/doad/reo-recruitment only. No other way/mode of application will be accepted.

3) The candidate must have a valid email id, if a candidate does not have an email id then create a new valid email.

Documents to be uploaded by candidates while submitting the form online:-

i) The candidate should upload a recent color photograph and signature.

ii) Candidates have to upload a self-attested photocopy of date of birth certificate.

iii) A Self-attested photocopy of the educational certificate should be uploaded.

iv) Self-attested photocopy of experience certificate (if any) to be uploaded.

v) Self-attested photocopy of caste certificate (if applicable) to be uploaded.
