Vacancy Details of GDS Recruitment 2023:
Educational Qualification of Department of Posts Recruitment:
Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics, the local language, and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board.
Knowledge of Cycling Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts. In case of a candidate having knowledge of riding a scooter or motorcycle, that may be considered as knowledge of cycling.
Age Limit of India Post Circle GDS 2023 Recruitment:
18 – 40 years. Age Relaxation is as per govt. norms.
Application Fees of Department of Posts Recruitment:
Applicants belonging to the category UR/OBC/EWS Male/trans-man have to pay a fee of Rs.100/-(Rupees one hundred only) for each set of five options. Payment of fee is exempted for all female/trans-woman candidates, all SC/ST candidates, and all PwD candidates.
Fees can be paid online during the online application process and can be paid offline through Post offices.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of India Post GDS online Engagement portal – https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/
Upon successful submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO INDIA POST, WEST BENGAL CIRCLE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
