Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format. No. of vacancies, qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —
1. STENOGRAPHER GRADE-II
Number of Vacancies: 7 Nos. (Gen—6; OBC—1). Out of total, 1 is reserved for PH(OH) candidate.
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent AND ability to take dictation test in English or in Hindi at 80 wpm for 10 minutes and then transcription of the same in 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on Computer only.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-
2. LOWER DIVISION CLERK (LDC)
Number of Vacancies: 4 Nos. (Gen—2; OBC—2). Out of them 1 reserved for PH (OH)
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent AND Typing Speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer. Candidates must have knowledge of computer operations.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 plus Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 27 years as on 01/07/2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
The posts are temporary but likely to continue and the candidate may be transferred to any Regional Station of IARI/ICAR Institute.
All candidates will be called for the written test. The candidates, who will qualify the written exam and found eligible after examination of their applications, will be called for skill test.
The typing/Stenography test for the posts of LDC/Stenographer Gr. III will be held at New Delhi.
