Agniveer Vayu Recruitment Educational Qualification for Agniveer Vayu :

(a) For Candidates with Science Subjects: Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Passed the Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from an Education Board recognized by Central, State, and UT with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Successfully completed a three-year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a Government-recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Diploma Course).

Completed a two-year Vocational course with a non-vocational subject such as Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the vocational course).

(b) For Candidates with Non-Science Subjects: Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Passed the Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.

Successfully completed a two-year vocational course from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course).

Mandatory Medical Standards for Agniveervayu (Sports) Male Candidates:

(a) Height: The minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm.

(b) Weight: Weight should be proportionate to height and age.

(c) Chest: The chest wall should be well-proportioned with a minimum range of expansion of 5 cm.

(d) Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing, which means they should be able to hear a forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.

(e) Dental: Candidates should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.

(f) Visual Standards:

Visual Acuity: Each eye should have a visual acuity of 6/12, correctable to 6/6.

Refractive Error: Hypermetropia should not exceed +2.0D, and Myopia should not exceed 1D, including ±0.50 D Astigmatism.

Color Vision: Candidates should meet the required standards for color vision (CP-II).

Selection Process of Agnipath Vayu Recruitment:
