Indian Air Force is going to conduct a recruitment Rally for Group X (Technical) Trades and Group X (Education Instructor) Trade at 4 Airmen Selection Centre near Palta Gate, Air Force Station Barrackpore, 24 Parganas (North) West Bengal. Married/ Unmarried Male candidates form the state of West Bengal and Sikkim may take part at the Recruitment Rally. The Rally will be from 8.11.2014 to 16.11.2014. Brief details are given below:—

1. Group—X (Technical) Trades
Educational Qualification: Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
Passed Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in overall aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma Course
Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid of Rs.11, 400/-PM during training period and on completion of training Rs.24, 900/- to Rs.43, 940/-PM plus other allowances.
Note: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.
2. Group—X (Education Instructor) Trade
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Arts, Commerce or Science with B Ed degree or two year teaching experience in a Government Recognized School/College, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation as well as B Ed.
OR
Passed MA English/ MSc in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science/MCA with B. Ed degree or two year teaching experience in a Government recognized School/College.
Note: Married candidates above 22 years of age on the date of Enrolment in Indian Air Force are also eligible.
Pay Scale: Candidates will be paid of Rs.11, 400/-PM during training period and on completion of training Rs25, 780/- to Rs.54, 360/-PM plus other allowances.
Age Limit:
Group X (Technical) Trades — Upper age limit on date of enrollment is 21 years.
Group X (Educational Instructor) Trade — Upper age limit on date of enrollment 25 years and 28 years for graduate and post graduate candidates respectively.
Selection Programme: The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates (from respective Districts covered below) reporting up to 10 AM on 08,10,12 & 14 November 2014 at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.

Physical Standard:-
For Both Trades: (i) Height 152.5cms (ii) Weight per height standard (iii) Chest: minimum range of expansion 5 cm (iv) Hearing normal (v) Eye Vision for (Technical Trades: 6/12 each eye correctable to 6/6 each eye & Education Instructor: 6/36 each eye correctable to 6/9 each eye).
