Indian Air Force – Recruitment Rally at Barrackpore (West Bengal) for selection of Airmen. Rally on 19/01/2016

Indian Air Force is going to hold Recruitment Rally from 19 January to 21 January 2016 for eligible male candidates to join as AIRMEN in Group “X” (Education Instructor) Trade at 4 Airmen Selection Centre, Barrackpore (West Bengal). For Intake 02/2016. Eligible candidates from the States of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Sikkim may appear for the Rally as per Selection Programme (See below). Qualification and eligibility criteria is given below —

INDIAN AIR FORCE RECRUITMENT RALLY FOR AIRMEN IN GROUP “X” (EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR) TRADE

 

ELIGIBILITY:—

Educational Qualification:
(a) Graduate in Arts or Commerce or Science with B.Ed. Degree  or 02 years teaching experience in Govt. recognized School/College, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation as well as B.Ed.
OR
(b) Passed MA English or M.Sc in Mathematics or Physics or Computer Science or MCA WITH B.Ed Degree or 02 years teaching experience.

 

Age Limit:
(a) For Graduate: Should be born between 01/08/1991 and 31/05/1996 (both days inclusive)
(b) For Post Graduate: Should be between 01/08/1988 and 31/05/1996 (both days inclusive)

Note: Both married and unmarried Male candidates may apply. If married, then candidate should be above 22 years.

 

Domicile Requirement: Male candidates from the States of West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Sikkim may appear for the Rally.

Important: The School/College/ Institute from where candidates have passed should be within the States of West Bengal or Odisha or Jharkhand or Sikkim. If the name of District is not mentioned in the qualification certificate/ mark sheet or qualifying examination, the candidates are to produce “Domicile Certificate”. Physical Standards:

(i) Height — 152.5 cms
(ii) Chest — Ability to expand by 5 cms.
(iii) Weight — Corresponding to height and age.

Candidates should be physically fit and free from any deformity or illness. See Advt. below (PDF)

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Documents verification, Written Test, Adaptability Test and Physical Fitness Test .

Written Test and Adaptability Part-I will be on 19^th January 2016 and Adaptability Test-II & Physical Fitness Test will be on 20^th Jan, 2016.

Written Test will be Objective and Descriptive type. Objective type comprise General English, General Awareness and Current Affairs. Descriptive type will be to test – language comprehension and power of expression.

Candidates selected for the vacancies will be initially on training. During training period, a stipend of Rs.11400/- per month will be paid plus there will be other allowances as per norms.
