INDIAN AIR FORCE INVITES APPLICATION FOR 95 CIVILIAN POSTS FOR VARIOUS STATIONS/ UNITS. LAST DATE — 21/06/2014

 

1. Draughtsman: 01 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with 2 years Diploma in Mechanical Drawing or Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Draughtsmanship (Mechanical or Civil) and 5 years experience in Draugtsmanship.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month.

 

2. Steno: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed and ability to take Dictation for 10mts @ 80wpm in Shorthand either in Hindi or English and transcription of same at a speed of 40wpm in Typing within 50mts in English and 65mts in Hindi.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2400/- per month.

 

3. Storekeeper: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed.
Desirable: Experience in handling stores and keeping Accounts in a store.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

4. Lower Division Clerk: 10 Nos. (Gen-04; OBC-03; SC-01; ST-01 & Exs-01)
Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed and typing speed of 35wpm in English or 30wpm in Hindi on Computer.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

5. Fire Engine Driver: 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent and must have 3 years experience of driving heavy vehicle and must be physically fit.
Desirable: Having experience in maintenance and operation of various types of Fire appliances and passed General Fire Fighting course.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

6. Cook: 06 Nos. (Gen-04; OBC-01 & SC-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation with 6 months experience in the trade.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

7. Copper Smith and Sheet Metal Worker (C&SMW): 01 Nos. (Gen-01)
Educational Qualification: ITI Certificate in appropriate field or trade with 2 years experience.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

8. Painter: 01 Nos. (Gen-01)
Educational Qualification: ITI Certificate in appropriate field or trade.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

9. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (CMTD): 08 Nos. (Gen-04; OBC-01; SC-01; ST-01 & Exm-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent and must have a valid civil driving license for light and heavy vehicle with 2 years experience in driving motor vehicles.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1900/- per month.

 

10. Multi Tasking Staff: 24 Nos. (Gen-12; OBC-08; SC-01; ST-02; Exm-01
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent.
Desirable: 1 year experience as Watchman or Lascar or Gestetner Operator or Mali.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

11. Mess Staff: 15 Nos. (Gen-07; OBC-06; SC-02)
Educational Qualification: Mess Staff or equivalent.
Desirable: 1 year experience as Waiter or Waslter.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

12. Safaiwala: 13 Nos. (Gen-10; SC-02; ST-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

13. Dhobi: 01 Nos. (Gen-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent.
Desirable: 1 year experience as Dhobi.
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs. 20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.1800/- per month.

 

The upper age relaxation for reserved categories will be as per Govt. norms.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
