Indian Air Force is conducting an open Rally for Group-X (Technical) Trades “AIRMAN” at Voorhees College, Vellore (Tamil Nadu) from 02 March 2013 to 05 March 2013. Unmarried Male candidates from the designated districts of State of Tamil Nadu and UTs of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Puducherry and Karaikal may appear at the recruitment Rally. Qualification norms and information in brief is given below—
AIRMAN
Educational Qualification: Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate
OR
Candidates should have passed 3yrs of Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.
Age Limits: Candidates must be born between 01 JANUARY 1992 to 31 MARCH 1996 (both days inclusive).
Required Physical Standards of the candidates—
(i) Height: Minimum height required is 152.5 cms.
(ii) Chest: Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm.
(iii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
Candidates must be physically fit and free from any medical or surgical deformity.
Candidates from the designated districts (List given below) of State of Tamil Nadu and UTs of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Puducherry and Karaikal may appear at the Recruitment Rally to become Airmen.
The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades will be held at Voorhees College, Vellore (Tamil Nadu) from 02 March 2013 to 05 March 2013
Recruitment test will be conducted from 7 AM and Candidates reporting upto 10AM at the Rally venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Rally.
List of Eligible Districts of State of Tamil Nadu—
Ariyalur, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Dharmapuri, Erode, Karur, Kancheepuram, Krishnagiri, Nagapattinam, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Perambalur, Salem, Thanjavur, Tiruvarur, Thiruvannamalai, Tiruvallur, Tirupur, Trichy, Villupuram & Vellore Districts Of Tamil Nadu And Uts Of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Puducherry And Karaikal.
Written Test, Physical Fitness Test and Interview will be on dated – 2nd March 2013.
Trade Allocation Test (TAT) and Medical Examination for candidates qualified in Interview will be on – 03rd March 2013. Dated 04th and 5th March is reserve days.
Written test will be objective type and question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English Paper. Duration of the written test will be 60 minutes and will be conducted in English, Physics and Mathematics as per CBSE syllabus of AISSCE.
