NCC SPECIAL ENTRY SCHEME 47TH COURSE (APR 2020)- SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (NT)
No. of Vacancies: 55 Nos. (NCC Men: 50 posts (Gen-45, Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel- 05), NCC Women: 05 posts (Gen-04, Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel-01))
Educational Qualification:
i) For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:-
a) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Candidates studying in final year are also eligible to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/ three years of three/ four years degree course respectively. For details please see the Official Advt.
b) Should have served for minimum two academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of NCC.
c) Should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
ii) For Ward of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel:-
a) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
b) NCC ‘C’ certificate not required for Wards of Battle Casualties. For more details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Minimum 19 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
Only Unmarried Male and Female candidates (including Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel) are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will undergo 49 weeks training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. The candidates will be paid Rs. 56,100/- per month as Stipend during the training period. The candidates will be on Probation for a period of six (06) months.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Shortlisting, SSB Interview and Medical Examination.
The SSB Interview will be held at the following selection Centres- Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (PB).
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Indian Army — www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
