Join Indian Army Educational Qualification:

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:-

(a) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Candidates studying in the final year are also eligible to apply provided they have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the first two/ three years of three/ four years degree courses respectively.
(b) Should have served for a minimum of 03 academic years in the senior Division/ Wing of NCC.
(c) Should have obtained a minimum of a ‘B’ Grade in the ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

For Wards of Battle Casualties of Army Personnel:-

(a) Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
(b) Should be warded (unmarried sons and unmarried daughters including legally adopted) of Battle casualties specified as:- Killed in action/ Died of wound or injuries (Other than self-inflicted)/ Wounded or Injured (Other than self-inflicted)/ Missing.
(c) NCC ‘C’ certificate not required for Wards of Battle Casualties.

Age Limit: 

Minimum 19 years and maximum 25 years.

Pay Scale: 

Rs.56100 — Rs.177500

Only unmarried Male and unmarried Female candidates are eligible to apply.

Selected candidates will undergo Pre-Commission training at Officers Training Academy, Chennai.

The candidates will be on Probation for a period of six (06) months from the date he/ she receives his/ her commission.

The selection of candidates will be through the Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview and Medical Examination.

Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 55th Course Application Process: 

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Indian Army — www.joinindianarmy.nic.in (See the Application form’s link given below).

Upon successful submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPIES OR DOCUMENTS TO THE INDIAN ARMY AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
