Indian Army – Recruitment of Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer). Last Dt. 20/09/2014

Indian Army is inviting application from the eligible candidates for recruitment as Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer) in the Army. Total vacancies—10 Nos. Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer)
Number of Vacancies: 10 Nos.

Educational Qualification: Minimum BA/B Sc with Mathematics or BE / B Tech, having passed 12th Class (10+2) or equivalent with Science and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognized Board/University.

Physical Standards: Minimum physical standards will be as applicable to the Soldier (General Duty) category. See URL given below for details.
Note: Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.

Pay Scale: upon completion of necessary training, the candidates will be placed at the minimum pay scale of Rs 5200-20200.

Selection of the candidates will be through Candidate’s Screening, Physical Fitness Test, Medical Standard Test, Written Examination and Medical Examination.
Physical Fitness Test will be as follows —
(i) 1.6 km run in maximum 6.20 minutes.
(ii) Pull Ups (Beam) – minimum of 6.
(iii) Balance – Quality.
(iv) 9 Feet Ditch – Quality.

Written Examination will be in two papers – (i) Mathematics and (ii) Physics & Chemistry. There will be negative marking for wrong answer.
Selection steps will be carried at BEG Centre Roorkee.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (see PDF file given below for Application form) along with required documents. Application may be handwritten or typed on A4 size paper as per the given format.
Paste one passport size photograph on the envelope and enclose one additional of the same (in self-attested) with the application
Candidates must enclose 03 Self-Addressed envelopes with requisite amount of postal stamp (as require for Registered post)
