1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric Pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1998 to 01/04/2002 as on 01/10/2019.
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002 as on 01/10/2019.
3. SOLDIER TECHNICAL (AVIATION & AMMUNITION EXAMINER)
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002 as on 01/10/2019.
4. SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002 as on 01/10/2019.
5. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002 as on 01/10/2019.
6. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS) 10TH PASS
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th Simple Pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002 as on 01/10/2019.
7. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS) 8TH PASS
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th Simple Pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Born between 01/10/1996 to 01/04/2002 as on 01/10/2019.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 16th October, 2019 to 18th October, 2019 at ITBP Ground, Chungthang, Sikkim.
Only candidates of all districts of Sikkim States are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 160 Cms (157 Cms for posts at Sl. No. 2 to 4); (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 Cms (76 Cms for posts at Sl. No. 6 & 7); (iii) Chest (expanded) — 82 Cms (81 Cms for posts at Sl. No. 6 & 7); (iv) Weight — 48 Kgs.
Note: Please see the Official Advt. for details regarding Physical Standards for Tribals (ST) and Gorkha candidates. Relaxation in Physical Standards will be as per Govt. norms.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
