INDIAN ARMY, ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE MANDI (HP) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY AND SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL. LAST DATE — 16/05/2020
1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
ii) For Board awarding grade system, minimum of D grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 21 years.
2. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
Only Male candidates of districts of Mandi, Kullu and Lahaul-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 01st June, 2020 to 08th June, 2020 at Paddal Ground, Mandi (Himachal Pradesh).
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 cm (162 cm for Lahaul & Spiti District and 157cm for Indian Gorkha); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm; Chest (expanded) — 82 cm; Weight — 48 kg

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
