Indian Army Recruiting Office Silchar invites online application for Soldier General Duty (All Arms), Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical (All Arms) and Soldier Tradesman. Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 15th February, 2020 to 20th February, 2020 at Dasaratha Deb State Sports Complex, Agartala (Tripura). INDIAN ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE SILCHAR INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (ALL ARMS), SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL (ALL ARMS) AND SOLDIER TRADESMAN. LAST DATE — 30/01/2020

1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (ALL ARMS)

Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.

Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 21 years.

2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL

Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics Chemistry Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.

3. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL (ALL ARMS)

Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in any stream (Arts/ Commerce/ Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Math/ Accounts/ Book keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.

Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.

4. SOLDIER TRADESMAN

Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th Simple Pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in each subject.
OR
i) Class 8th Simple Pass (for Syce, House Keeper and Mess Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.

Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.

Only candidates of state of Tripura are eligible to apply.

Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 15th February, 2020 to 20th February, 2020 at Dasaratha Deb State Sports Complex, Agartala (Tripura).

Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 160 cms (157 cms for Soldier Technical); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms; Chest (expanded) — 82 cms; Weight — 48 Kgs.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Exam (CEE). Admit Cards for the Rally will be sent through registered e-mail from 01st February, 2020 to 08th February, 2020.
