INDIAN ARMY, ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE RANGAPAHAR INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY, SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT/ VETERINARY, SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL AND SOLDIER TRADESMAN. LAST DATE — 16/03/2020
1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 21 years.
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
3. SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT/ VETERINARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.
OR
10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
4. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in any stream (Arts/ Commerce/ Science) with 60% aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
5. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (10TH PASS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th Simple Pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
6. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (8TH PASS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th Simple Pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
Only candidates of all districts of Nagaland are eligible to apply.

Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 160 cm (157 cm for Soldier Technical and Soldier Nursing Assistant/ Veterinary); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm; Chest (expanded) — 82 cm; Weight — 48 kg.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Note:- Relaxation in Physical Standards will be as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
