Indian Army is inviting application from the eligible male candidates for posts of Territorial Army Officers. Indian Army brings an opportunity for gainfully employed young men to serve the country as Territorial Army Officers without quitting their primary professions/business. Thus candidates may serve the nation as a civilian and as a soldier.

 

Territorial Army Officers

Educational Qualification:Graduate from any recognized University.

Note: Only Male candidates who are gainfully employed/ self-employed may apply.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 42 years.

 

Physical Standards: A candidate must be physically and medically fit in all respects.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Preliminary Interview. Written Examination will comprise following subjects – (i) Reasoning, (ii) Elementary Mathematics, (iii) General Knowledge and (iv) English.

Written Examination will be tentatively on 31^st July 2016.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Indian Army

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF file below) along with attested copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Caste, Age, Experience certificate (if applicable) and any other relevant documents.

Candidates must also enclose 01 (size: 28 x12 cms) Self-Addressed envelope with the  Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.27/- and two passport size photographs.

 

Last Date and Address: The duly filled Application form along with enclosures should be submitted at respective Territorial Army Group Headquarter as per choice of examination centres (See below), on or before 30/06/2016
