Indian Army invites application for Pre Final 3rd Year University Entry Scheme for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Army. Last Dt.

Indian Army is inviting Application form from unmarried Male Engineering Degree students studying in Pre-Final Year (III Year) for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Army. 24th Pre Final Year University entry Scheme for Men Permanent Commission (July 2015). Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format within below scheduled date. Qualification norms and brief details is given below —

Number of Vacancies: 60 Nos.

Distribution of vacancies according to Branch/ Stream of Engineering are as follows —

1. Civil: 15 Nos. 
2. Architecture: 2 Nos. 
3. Production: 3 Nos. 
4. Automobile Engineering: 2 Nos. 
5. Aeronautical / Aerospace/ Avionics: 2 Nos. 
6. Metallurgical/ Mettallurgical & Explosives: 2 Nos. 
7. Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics: 6 Nos. 
8. Electronic & Communication/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/ Satellite Communication: 8 Nos. 
9. Bio-Tech/ Food Tech: 8 Nos. 
10. Info Tech/ Computer Sc & Engg/ Computer Technology/ M.Sc (Computer): 5 Nos. 

Educational Qualification: Candidates studying in the Pre-Final of the Engineering Course in recognized Universities/Institutions/Colleges in the subjects/ streams mentioned above.

Physical Standards: Height—157.5cms (152.5cms for North East States and candidates from hilly areas)
Visual: Distant vision shall be 6/6 with better eye and 6/18 with worse eye without any correction.

Pay/ Stipend during Training period at IMA: During the period of training the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 21,000/- p.m.
On completion of training Officers are commissioned as Lieutenant

The Application form must be enveloped in white color envelope with superscribing in Red color Ink indicating clearly the branch of Engineering applied for, as — APPLICATIONS FOR 24 UES ENTRY – ENGINEERING’S. BRANCH__________.
