Indian Army is inviting Online Application from those unmarried Male candidates for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Army. Engineering Degree students studying in final year in academic session 2014-15 may apply for the vacancies. Total vacancies — 60 Nos. Educational Qualification and brief details are given below —

Total vacancies — 60 Nos.

Discipline wise vacancies are as given below —
1. Civil: 30 vacancies
Equivalent Stream— Civil Engg, Civil Engg(Structural Engg), Structural Engg

2. Mechanical: 12 Nos.
Equivalent Stream — Mechanical Engg, Mechanical (Mechatronics) Engg, Mechanical & Automation Engg

3. Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics: 06 Nos.
Equivalent Stream — Electrical Engg, Electrical Engg (Electronics & Power), PowerSystem Engg, Electrical & Electronics Engg.

4. Electronics & Telecommunication/ Telecommunication/ Electronics & Communication/ Satellite Communication: 06 Nos.
Equivalent Stream — Electronics & Telecommunication Engg, Telecommunication Engg, Electronics & Communication Engg, Electronics & Electrical Communication Engg.

5. Architecture/ Building Construction Technology: 02 Nos.
Equivalent Stream — Architecture Engg.

6. Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Technology, M.Sc Computer Science, Informational Technology: 04 Nos.
Equivalent Stream — Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Engineering.

Educational Qualification: Candidates studying in the Pre-Final of the Engineering Course in recognized Universities/Institution/Colleges in academic session 2014-15, in the subject /discipline or stream mentioned above.

Selected candidates will be detailed for training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun according to their position in the final order of merit up to the number of vacancies available in each subject.

Pay Scale: The candidates will be given a stipend of Rs. 21,000/- p.m. (Rs 15,600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/-). On completion of training they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank.
