55TH SSC (TECH) MEN AND 26TH SSC (TECH) WOMEN COURSE INCLUDING WIDOWS OF DEFENCE PERSONNEL FOR TECH AND NON-TECH (NON-UPSC)
No. of Vacancies: 191 Nos. (Men- 175 posts, Women- 14 posts, Widows of Defence Personnel- 02 posts)
The vacancies are in the following Engineering Streams (only for SSC(Tech)-55 Men and SSCW(Tech)-26):
Civil, Mechanical, Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics, Computer Sc & Engg/ Computer Technology/ Information Tech/ M.Sc Computer Sc, Electronics & Telecom/ Telecommunication/ Electronics & Comn/ Satellite Communication, Electronics, Opto Electronics, Fibre Optics, Micro Electronics & Microwave, Production Engg, Architecture, Building Construction Technology, Aeronautical, Ballistics, Avionics and Aerospace. Educational Qualification: i) Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification For Widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness:-
(a) SSCW (Non Tech) (Non UPSC):- Graduation in any Discipline.
(b) SSCW (Tech):- B.E./ B. Tech in any Engineering stream.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 27 years (maximum 35 years for Widows of Defence Personnel) as on 01/10/2020.
Only unmarried Male and unmarried Female candidates and Widows of Defence Personnel who died in harness are eligible to apply. The Course will commence in October, 2020 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through SSB Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be
Interviewed at one of the Selection Centres viz. Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru and Kapurthala.

Note:- Widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness are required to apply through Offline mode. The duly filled in application in the prescribed format along with required documents should be sent directly to Rtg ‘A’(WE) section, Dte Gen of Rtg, AG’s Branch, Integrated HQ, Ministry of
Defence (Army), West Block-III, R K Puram, New Delhi- 110066, on or before 31/03/2020. Please see the Official Advt. for more details.
Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO INDIAN ARMY AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
