Branches and Qualification —
1. General Duty (Male only)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates at Class 12 examination, shall have obtained 60% marks aggregate in Mathematics and Physics subject at Class 12 examination.
Age (Born between): 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive).
2. General Duty (Pilot or Observer) (Male only)
Qualification: Same as above.
Age (Born between): 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1996 (both dates inclusive).
3. Technical Branch (Mechanical and Electrical) (Male only)
Qualification: Engineering degree with 60% marks in aggregate in the following discipline — [a] Engineering Branch (Naval architecture / Mechanical / Marine / Automotive / Mechatronics / Industrial and Production / Metallurgy / Design / Aeronautical / Aerospace) [b] Electrical Branch (Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication / Instrumentation / Instrumentation and Control / Electronics and Communication / Power Engg. / Power Electronics).
AND 60% marks in aggregate in Physics and Maths in 12th class OR 03 years diploma course with an aggregate of 60%
Age (Born between): 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive).
Short Service Appointments as Assistant Commandant
4. Pilots (Helicopter and fixed wing) Commercial Pilot License holders (Male & Female)
Qualification: Class 12 pass pass with 60% marks in aggregate and should possess current / valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) approved by DGCA on the date of Preliminary Selection.
Age (Born between): 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1996 (both dates inclusive).
5. General Duty (Female only)
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Candidates at Class 12 examination, shall have obtained 60% marks aggregate in Mathematics and Physics subject at Class 12 examination
Age (Born between): 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1994 (both dates inclusive).
Note: Maximum 5% relaxation in aggregate marks in the degree certificate only for SC/ ST/ Sportsperson candidates. No relaxation for 12 th class marks.

On successful submission of the online application a unique Application/Registration number will be provided to the candidate. Candidates must note down this application number for future reference. Do not send any print-out to anywhere by post.
Candidates will have to produce the print-out application and testimonials in attested copies at the examination centre.
Admit card will be issued to the eligible candidates which they can download from 09th June,2014 onwards.
