Eligibility for ICG Recruitment 2023
(1) Store Keeper –
For Central Govt. Employees:
(i) Must be a matric with six years of regular service in the grade holding similar posts regularly or holding posts carrying pay level 2 in pay.
(ii) Candidates should have three years of experience in store management and account keeping in a recognized firm or Central Stores or State Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking.
(2) Sarang Lascar –
Persons working under Central or State Govt:
(i) Matrics with eight years of regular service in the grade holding similar posts regularly or holding posts carrying pay level 1 in pay.
(ii) Should have the following qualifications –
Essential:- Candidates should possess a Certificate of Competency as Sarang from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.
Desirable:- Candidate should have two years experience as Sarang in charge of a vessel of twenty horsepower.
Age Limit for ICG Recruitment 2023
The candidate’s maximum age limit shall not exceed 56 years as on the last date of receipt.
Pay Scale for ICG Recruitment 2023
Candidates will be paid according to Pay Scale Level-04 for recruitment in the Indian Coast Guard.

Eligible candidates should forward their application along with an up-to-date CR dossier (or attested photocopy of ACR/APAR for the last 05 years) in a sealed cover with Officers’ Vigilance/Integrity Clearance Certificate to Commander, Coast Guard Region (East), Near Napier Bridge, Fort St. George (PO), Chennai – 600 009 within 60 days from the date of publication of advertisement.
