Assistant Commandant
Branch wise Qualification
a)General Duty
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks. Mathematics and Physics as subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme with 60% marks aggregate in Math’s & Physics.
(Candidates not in possession of Physics & Math’s in 10 + 2 (Intermediate) level are not eligible to apply).
Age Limit: Born between 01.07.1988 to 30.06.1995 for OBC and 01.07.1986 to 30.06.1995 for SC/ST Candidates
b) General Duty Pilot
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks. Mathematics and Physics as subject up to intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme with 60% marks aggregate in Math’s & Physics.
(Candidates not in possession of Physics & Math’s in 10 + 2 (Intermediate) level are not eligible to apply).
Age Limit: Born between 01.07.1988 to 30.06.1997 for OBC and 01.07.1986 to 30.06.1997 for SC/ST candidates
c) Pilots (CPL) (Male / Female)
Educational Qualification: 12th class pass with 60% marks and should possess current / valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
Age limit: Born between 01.07.1988 to 30.06.1997 for OBC and 01.07.1986 to 30.06.1997 for SC/ST Candidates
Physical Standard:
i) For General Duty: Height– 157 cms
ii) For Pilots (CPL): Height– 162.5 cms, leg Length- 99cms (minimum) both Male and Female
Weight: Proportionate to the Height and Age, + _10 % acceptable.
Chest: Well proportionate, minimum expansion 5 cms.
Note: Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. regulations.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through marks obtained in higher qualification, Mental Ability Test/ Cognitive Aptitude Test / Picture Perception & Discussion Test. The Final Selection will consist of Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality test). Examination will be conducted from 02/04/2016 at Chennai and Noida.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Indian Coast Guard
