INDIAN COAST GUARD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR POSTS OF NAVIK (GENERAL DUTY). LAST DATE — 29/01/2016
1. Navik (General Duty)
Educational Qualification: 10+2 passed with 50% marks aggregate in total and minimum 50% (45% for outstanding sports person) in each subject of Math’s and Physics.
Physical Standards:
Height: Minimum height 157 cms.
Chest: Expansion 5cms
Weight: Proportionate to height and age
Hearing: Normal.
Visual Standards: 6/6 (Better Eye) and 6/9(Worse Eye) (Candidates using glasses are not eligible)
Age Limit: Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade pay Rs.2000/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates is based on Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examination. Examination will be at various centres across the country tentatively in March, 2016.
